Description: The reasarch is based on the activities at the KTH microarray resource center, with focus on methodology and technology development of all aspects of DNA and protein microarray related activities, such as large-scale array production, high-throughput target and probe preparation, automation, amplification protocols, as well as several of the bioinformatic tools needed for a microarray analysis. The method and technology driven research is generally applied to a wide variaty of biological research projects together with collaborators, such as transcript profiling in cancer related projects, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Archaea and Poplar. Recently has also projects with different formats of protein microarrays been initiated, applied to analysis of antibody specificity and screening of clinical samples.
