Biomime Graduate School

From Glycoscience

In September 2009, KTH launched a unique cross-disciplinary Graduate school with a mission is to train Ph.D. students in the development of a new generation of biomaterials based on the Swedish forest resource. The school is closely linked to the Strategic Research Center for Biomimetic Fiber Engineering, Biomime^TM.

The Graduate School for Biomimetic Fiber Engineering is supported by FORMAS and is hosted by the Division of Glycoscience, KTH School of Biotechnology, with KTH-partners at Fiber and Polymer Technology, Surface Chemistry, and KTH Learning Lab. Additional partners are STFI-Packforsk and the Umeå Plant Science Center. KTH Innovation and Konstfack are also involved as course organizers.
